Sunday, Oct. 12 & Saturday, Oct. 18, 2-4pm First Sunday: Sketching a landscape in oil. Basic paint handling, color mixing, basic compositional considerations and how to quickly block in the essential elements of a landscape painting. Second Saturday: Sketching architecture in acrylic. A few approaches to quickly rendering buildings in context. I'll talk about my palette and touch on perspective, value and color.
